ITALY CONFIRMS 475 NEW COVID-19 DEATHS

ROME (Central Desk Report):- The Italian Government confirmed 475 new deaths due to coronavirus during last 24 hours in the country.

According to the Italian officials confirmed 475 new death due to corona pandemic in a day. After new deaths, the death toll reached to 2,978 in Italy from coronavirus. Today’s death toll is the highest number in any single day in the Italy after confirmed first death in Italy.

The Italian Civil Protection Agency also confirmed 35,713 coronavirus cases in the country which was 31,506 yesterday. The agency also told that 4,025 had fully recovered compared to 2,941 the day before. Some 2,257 people were in intensive care against a previous 2,060.

Pakistani authority also confirmed first death due to coronavirus. Pakistan’s Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza confirmed the first coronavirus death in the country. Through a twitt message, Mirza said that I confimed first death in the country due to COVID-19. The person who died from the virus, belongs to the Mardan District of in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. 

The patient was a 50-year-old man who had recently returned from Saudi Arabia after perform Umrah.

With deep regret I confirm the death of first Pakistani due to #coronavirus. A 50 yr old male from Mardan recently returned from Umra, developed fever, cough & breathing difficulty and tested +ve for corona virus. Contacts are being screened. Our condolences to the family”, he said in his twitter account. 

The numbers of the confirmed corona cases climbed to 297 and most of the cases came from Sindh province with 208 confirmed cases. 

The French authority imposed a strict lockdown to control corona virus in the country.
